Jim Corbett National Park is divided into multiple safari zones: each with its own terrain, wildlife density and best-time-to-visit notes. Our travel desk helps you pick the right one for your dates and timings.
Dhikala Zone
The park's most iconic zone: grasslands, the Ramganga river bed, the best chance of spotting tigers, elephants and Hog deer.
Bijrani Zone
Dense sal forests and open grasslands close to Amdanda Gate, excellent for tiger sightings and accessible year-round.
Jhirna Zone
The only zone open through the year, including monsoon: known for sloth bears, wild boars and barking deer.
Dhela Zone
The newest buffer zone, quieter than Dhikala but rich in wildlife and birdlife. Open through most of the year.
